台灣面臨空前挑戰  總統應承擔重責  停止黨同伐異

在卓榮泰請國人「安心入睡」後，台灣面臨美國政府宣布課徵32%高關稅的重大衝擊，以出口為導向的眾多產業一片哀鴻遍野，台灣經濟遭逢空前挑戰。在第一時間選擇神隱卓榮泰，今天下午率閣員說明政府評估的衝擊與因應對策。

雖然已經不知道慢了多少拍，反映事前毫無準備；但，我本懷抱一絲期待，想聽聽看卓內閣的對策究竟為何。

聽完後，我只感到極度哀傷。到了這個節骨眼，卓榮泰完全束手無策，沒有事前計畫、沒有事後對策，整場記者會全部在說空話，腦袋裡想的只有如何進行自己的閣揆保衛戰，也無怪乎連綠色媒體人，都喊出要卓榮泰趕快回家睡覺！

當國家經濟與人民生計遭逢如此重大衝擊的時刻，台灣民眾黨絕不會置身事外，我們願為國家承擔責任，也願與朝野政黨共商國是。但是，我們必須強調，早已失去人民信任的卓榮泰，已自證無能解決問題，更不應繼續擔任閣揆阻礙國家前進。

值此關鍵時刻，賴清德總統應站上第一線，親自承擔重責，負責任地向台灣人民清楚說明賴總統所謂向美方「嚴正交涉」的內容與結果！賴清德並應立即下令要求執政團隊停止過去這段時間黨同伐異、撕裂社會的惡行，儘速召集國是會議，邀集朝野主要政黨與產業及勞工代表，共商政府應採取之具體作為，找回人民對失能政府的信任，挽救瀕臨危機的民生經濟。

"Taiwan Faces Unprecedented Challenges: The President Must Step Up and End Partisan Struggles

Following Cho Jung-tai(卓榮泰)'s recent call for the public to "sleep peacefully", Taiwan now faces a major economic blow from the U.S. government's announcement of a 32% tax on goods from Taiwan. Many export-oriented industries are struggling, and Taiwan's economy is confronting unprecedented challenges. Initially, Cho Jung-tai chose silence, but later held a press conference with his cabinet to discuss the government's assessment of the situation and proposed responses.

While the full extent of the time lost remains unclear, it reflects a troubling lack of preparation. Despite this, I still hoped to hear some concrete strategies from the Cabinet. After listening, I was left with a deep sense of disappointment. At this critical moment, Cho Jung-tai appears helpless, with no prior plans or clear solutions. The entire press conference seemed focused solely on defending his position as Premier, filled with empty rhetoric. Even pro-DPP media voices are now urging Cho Jung-tai to step down and "sleep peacefully" as well.

With the nation's economy and the livelihoods of its people under severe threat, the Taiwan People's Party(台灣民眾黨) refuses to stand by idly. We are ready to take responsibility for the country and work alongside all political parties to discuss national policies. However, it must be clear that Cho Jung-tai, having already lost the people's trust, has proven incapable of resolving these issues and should no longer serve as Premier, as his leadership only hinders the nation's progress.

At this pivotal moment, President Lai Ching-te must take charge, assume responsibility, and clearly communicate to the Taiwanese people the details and outcomes of his so-called "stern negotiations" with the U.S. Furthermore, Lai Ching-te must immediately direct his administration to put an end to the partisan struggles and social divisions that have plagued the nation during this crisis. He should urgently convene a national policy conference, bringing together major political parties, industry leaders, and labor representatives to discuss concrete actions that the government should take. This approach will help restore the people's trust in an ineffective government and work to stabilize the livelihoods of those facing an impending crisis."
